I wonder why she closed her store if it was voted best store in Tx for four years straight.I'm happy to see T-boz back in the public eye.She should hold seminars for aspiring artist, might actually help educate people.I noticed she said "don't sell your soul"..It won't be long before the devil worshipper people pop in here..

Yes, "Scrubs" was very liberating for young women, freeing them from the shackles of come-ons from guys with no money. As for Clive Davis, he had nothing to do with TLC being broke; this was strictly a black-on-black crime: (TLC) declared debts totaling 3.5 million dollars, much of it because of Lopes's insurance payments arising from the arson incident and Watkins's medical bills, but the primary reason being that each member of the group was taking home less than $35,000 a year after paying managers, producers, expenses, and taxes. They sought to renegotiate their 1991 contract with LaFace, under which they only received seven percent of the revenues from their album sales, and to dissolve their association with Pebbitone. Both Pebbitone and LaFace countered that TLC simply wanted more money and were in no real financial danger, resulting in two years of legal debates before the cases were finally settled in late 1996. TLC's contract was renegotiated, their production deal with Pebbitone and Perri Reid (who had separated from her husband by this time) was rescinded, and the group appeared on the Waiting to Exhale soundtrack with "This Is How It Works" and was set to re-enter the recording studio in 1997 after signing a new contract with LaFace. - Wikipedia

Monique... There was nothing misleading about the thread title...it's exactly what Tboz said in the interview wasn't it? And even though she's bigger than she was she's still a ways from being plus sized. Prince, in you I found a kindred spirit...Rest In Paradise.

Performers of all races get ripped off by record label execs of all races. Where did anybody say otherwise? It's no excuse for pulling a gun on somebody but the total debts figure is still a long ways from 75m dollars. Prince, in you I found a kindred spirit...Rest In Paradise.

who knew Tboz was still around and now a full figured (plus size?) woman? not me Monique is a size 16w.. she IS plus size. Monique is almost twice as big as T-boz. T-boz has gained weight but she looks healthy and not overweight. I'd say she looks like a size 8-10. Some men aren't used to looking at real women I guess.

No silly Also, I don't understand how this is a 'misleading thread'... The title of the thread is exactly what's spoken about in the clip by T Boz herself I swear the words "HATER" is wayyy over-rated...smh

who knew Tboz was still around and now a full figured (plus size?) woman? not me She's not plus sized. She is a very, very tiny woman (5'2 at most, and if my visual memory serves me correctly she's more like 5'1) who at the height of TLC's popularity was a size 0-1. All of them fluctuated between a 0 and a size 2. The problem with shorties is, anything once you go beyond size 4 at most, makes you look like an elephant on film because the camera adds 10 lbs to your frame. Although I can still fit into a size 2 for my skirts, I am creeping towards a size 4 right now (which is clearly not plus sized), but because of my height (5'3.5"), on film I may as well be Delta Burke.
