let's cut to the chase, when the hardest thing you'll do all day is look for a good spot to place your ice fishing shack, then opposable thumbs are not only unnecessary but somewhat of a burden...

How about "good morning" vs. "good mourning".

the first would be a good beginning of the day, the later would be the act of seeing someone off to the next life in an average/above par fashion.

how do these words translate in british english or canadian english(Australian and New Zealand english too) vs. U.S. english. I was gonna say american english but canada is in an America like the U.S. is.

One that bugs me is when Canadians pronounce "been" like "bean".

Like, "where have you bean?"

But that is how most Brits say it,not like "bin".
