Things that you've bought/buy that you simply don't need?

Is there anything you buy purely for aesthetic reasons or perhaps some other reason that you just don't need and don't use?

I like watches. To look at, only. Not on my arm. I just like nice-looking watches. I gave my old watch to my father in-law after a few years of not wearing it. My last watch sits on a little shelf on our bed headboard and I haven't worn it in probably a year. I don't like wearing watches. I also bought rings and bracelets, bangles and whatnot because I liked how they looked, but I don't want to wear them. lol

I once bought a mobile phone purely because it was small and cute. I hated using it and was glad when my sister in law stole it.

So how about you?

Shoes neutral I think I have somewhere between 40 and 50 pairs and I seriously only wear 5 or 6 of them on a regular basis disbelief

Dresses neutral I don't even like wearing them very much, but when I find one that fits me and that I don't have to do many alterations to, I will buy it. I do it because I tend to get extremely stressed out when I have to go somewhere where I have to be dressed up and then I can't find something that looks right on me. I'm difficult to dress lol

u know...that's a pretty ignorant statement.

People think they don't need car insurance untill they accidentally hit someone and maim them...god forbid, kill them.

Lets say U have an accident and break your back/neck a la Chris Reeve...whatcha gonna do....huh?

go bankrupt with medical bills and short all the other people U or, or short the hospital that saved your life.. Either way u're fuckin people.

Yeah, but under the obama plan I do not need to have insurance! I can just wait until I get sick or hurt then sign up, get treated, then drop it. And it was more of a joke than anything.

U go ahead and try that. U have heard of pre-existing conditions...right?

it don't work like that.

Justifiably, the state can force me into buying car insurance. For if I don't the cost of my accidents are force upon others.

If U don't have health insurance, the cost of your lifestyle, the way U eat, your sexual habits, the risks U take, are forced upon me without recourse.

A public health plan paid for by EVERYONE is an acceptable recourse, or U insuring your own health without forcing others pick up the cost of your decisions; of not having to pay for it for years but still benefiting from the ways that hospitals are forced to help U.

Accidents happen, and by definition, they're unforeseeable. When a misfortune of health falls, no one knows.

Blu-ray....convience. The last porns I bought were blu ray. Sometimes paying for it is easier than hunting it down, converting it, putting it on dvd. I usually like to lay in bed, be comfortable while I "practice". My desktop isn't conducive to that behavior.
