Thanks, Bears. Now I can go back to raking leaves early.

Gotta love Dovie Smith. 10 more games and he is gone.

That's too bad. I really like him, but his team keeps going downhill.

Atleast the Hawkeyes are 8-0! Bears got their asses handed to them, big time.

Too many damn turnovers and dropped passes. I don't care what anyone says, we need to get a big-time Plaxico-type WR during the off-season. Someone who'll get the damn ball no matter what.

Mario Manningham.... pissed

He seemed to bring new life into the team when he came on, but he has been chronically unable to get a decent QB. Clearly he made the wrong decision on Cedrick Benson as well. I also thought in the Superbowl, that Orton got them there, he should have played.

I guess in the end he seems like a nice guy!

Yep Yep. Hawks could run the table, but Ohio State will be a tough game. It's away as well.

I have to add, Kyle Orton is 6-0 right now.

The wrong decision was drafting Cedric Benson in the first place when they already had Thomas Jones. Hindsight is 20/20, but here are some notable names drafted in the first round after they took Benson at #4: DeMarcus Ware, Shawne Merriman, Jammal Brown, Aaron Rodgers, Roddy White, Heath Miller, and Logan Mankins.

I also thought in the Superbowl, that Orton got them there, he should have played.

Orton has certainly improved, but let's be honest: the defense got them there. Hell, special teams played as a big a part as the offense did (maybe bigger).

True, but they started the guy that sat all year. The D won games, but Orton was the guy taking snaps.

I don't think he would have won the game or anything, but he deserved a little respect.

I knew that wasn't sounding right! Orton was the one who led them to the playoffs during his rookie year (although he had the worst passer rating in the league). Grossman came back near the end of the season, starting a game, and he played in the postseason loss. They made the Super Bowl the next year with Grossman as the full-time starter.

Ah. Maybe I was just remembering ranting that Orton would have been better than Grossman in that blowout.
