I remember watching that episode in the town home we had to live in while rebuilding the house. And still watching it up to 1993 while in our rebuilt home.

He was a comedian but he wasn't funny. He also gave horrible interviews. What kind of comment is "I'm not gonna run away from it like Johnny - I'll deal with it."?

Sounds like he was jealous of Johnny maybe because Johnny was King?

He handled the entire incident the wrong way. I watched that show too and don't remember that airing. Could be they edited that out. Then it showed up on a dvd extra or something.

At that time Queer Nation was showing up to various talk shows, and Arsenio was having none of that




But the experience affected Arsenio deeply because over the course of the next several months, Arsenio actually had 'out' gay and lesbians guests (a comedian who wasn't the least bit funny appeared and did 'dyke humor' ) to show that he was inclusive.

I applaud Arsenio. He really took the experience to heart and was very inclusive of gays and lesbians.


But I sided with Arsenio during this exchange for sure.
