What is the upshot? What happened?

The upshot is the fans finally get to have a say. It's history, what happened and the future. Mostly it's about loss. Something happening to fans out of their hands. Money and lies. History on the side....

Sonic fans have my sympathy. My team, the Knicks, such ass every single year. I highly doubt that they will be good anytime within the next half-decade. However, I would be terribly saddened if some idiots bought the team and moved it to Little Rock, Arkansas.
Sonic fans got shafted, I turn on a Heat game, and I never see anyone in the stands. I didn't watch many Sonic games, but there were always people in the stands when I did see their games. Well, you will get your team back eventually, but that doesn't help right now. I hope that you can root for the Blazers in the interim. I abdicated the throne in Ithaca, but now I am...

It's like a 40 year punch that came thru time and smacked you, and the loss is real. Rain or fog. The night games were a part of the city. On radio, in the stands.

Dennis Johnson, Gus 'The Wizard' Williams, Jack Sikma, 'Downtown' Freddie Brown, Lonnie Shelton, Slick Watts - Sonics were fun to watch back in the day.

Yeah the sonic fans got shafted. Lot of history
their. I can remember being in middle school staying up late on Friday nights to watch the Sonics on the east coast. Gus"the wizard"Williams,D.Johnson,Downtown Freddie Brown and the boys. They were on the verge of being a dynasty until some guy named Earvin"Magic"Johnson came in the league. Don't laugh at my funk

Heck yeah. I am still a Sonics fan, just because of those names that you mention. “When I give food to the poor, they call me a saint. When I ask why the poor have no food, they call me a Communist.” Brazilian bishop Dom Hélder Câmara

Dang, july. I have been a Supersonics fans since I was 8 years old. 1978 was the year I became a fan. Seeing how the team, fans, and the city of Seattle, got robbed, makes me really love the Sonics that much more. I hope that the Sonics are able to return to Seattle soon. “When I give food to the poor, they call me a saint. Thanks guys. Yea, I have memories goin back all the way when I was 15 and younger. They have always been apart of the outlook. It pains me. I used to keep score on the schedule. Had the Burger King X-man poster. Took the game list out of the phone book. Wrote down every score. If I missed a game would look thru old newspapers or over the radio. This was before Internet. The team. I took my wife to a game when we returned from Alaska 2004 for our anniversary. I've seen many games live. M Johnson, Jordon. The Sonics own stars.
I have all that in memory. One day maybe the sonics will be back. In some form. Even a new team, new name. Would be alright too. NBA until we meet again. Please enjoy the soundtrack. http://sonicsgate.org/music/ Neema The Weatherman Home Jake One Nina Sing Common Market

Heck yeah. I am still a Sonics fan, just because of those names that you mention. That team went to back-to-back NBA Finals. They might have had a mini-dynasty if not for the rise of Magic Johnson & 'Showtime'.
