Am so pleased for Phil and Val. The Org has changed much over the years but it has brought together many people both in friendship and love. For that I will always remember this place. Love to the new Family. XXX Thank you Ellie for all of your support along the way. You are one of the true gems of the org.

PREDOMINANT said: To you both (all three),
I met you (Phil) on a drunken night in London a few years ago and ended up covered in beer debating the shape and style of some signpost lettering? Since then there have been many drunken nights with a lot of great food and a London invasion on one night of which I laughed so hard my face broke. The second night we went out i nearly walked out on you leaving you sitting in the pub on your own, you pissed me off so much. I chose to go on drinking, safe in the knowledge that i can deal with any opinionated cantankerous git no matter what his faults as long as there is a pint in my hand.... We righted religion (most don't even know it's broke) and kept on drinking We debated women and kept on drinking We debated wine, while we drank it We debated men, when we were drunk, very drunk We drank champagne - a lot! We ate steak - a lot We discussed long term relationship and long distance relationships..... We met Val (or rather you met, then I did after..) My sons first Footie match! My sons second birthday party - all to come for you now mate! A few months on and we were at the 02 together holding your phone up so a rather disgruntled Lady at the other end of the line could hear her hero (not yours), from the other side of the Ocean. You went to visit Val, came back and we drank some more, We discussed marriage, we drank. We debated wine, while we drank it, and then drank more and then smoked cigars?? You went to the US, you both came back! You went to some island somewhere and got hitched. We nursed some of the best hangovers in recent memories and now Val was drinking too!! I have met a few orgers over the years, friends come and go, and i don't use the term lightly but i can honestly say that these 2 have become great friends and we don't see enough of them (families! - you'll get used to that!) One drunken conversation i do recall (and it was an early one) was Phil's desire to be a dad, I can't think of anyone else I know more suited to the role. Now we love you Val, you have done a fantastic thing here and I know it wasn't easy but it has got to be easier with him by your side. You will make fantastic parents, Selden is a very lucky little boy and I wish all three of you as much happiness that life can bring. P.S.I didn't reply to the baby text because to be quite honest i was sick of your phone calls and texts bugging my wife and i for the last few weeks, ne months! The Private consultation fee has gone up and the invoice is in the post. Yay, for the shit NHS! So happy it worked out well in the end. P.P.S When do we get to wet the babies head, i have got a nice cuban for you mate! Of course you will have to smoke it outside in the rain, but I will be keeping the wine company inside. We love you guys and appreciate all of your love & support. Your wife is amazing and I am not sure what I would have done without her advice over those few days of hell. It all worked out in the end. We need to get together soon to see your new bundle as well.

Congratulations Guys
what a cute lil guy Man 17 days overdue you deserve a medal Val Just a few issues 1. I can see a copy of OK magazine on the bed 2. Phil you are a parent! you have to stop gelling your hair 3. Phil don't use the 'I'm not getting any sleep' excuse when I kick your butt on the golf course. Oh val make sure you rest up and let everyone else do some work for a few days because pretty soon they all go home/back to work and you have to do it all yourself What you don't remember never happened

What do you expect, they took forever to get the discharge papers done and it was an NHS hospital, OK mag is as good as it gets in there 2.) Don't pick on my babydaddy 3.) He is a pretty good golfer but if he loses, he will have an excuse. Yep, 17 days overdue and labour induction for days and still had to have a c-section in the end to get his stubborn butt into the world. Sadly, my mom had to fly back home less than two days after he was born so Phil is left to help me out this week. He is doing a good job so far. I will be as good as new as soon as the c-sect wound heals.

I am so glad that we are home from the hospital now. Four days was too long for me. Being induced and in labour for days before a c-section was not how I planned it to be. Just glad that he is finally out and I can hold him now.

Just glad that he is finally out and I can hold him now. That's definately the best bit - actually getting to gaze into that beautiful little face that you've dreamed and wondered about for so long. It's a weird thing - when you look at them, even for the first time, it's almost as if you recognise them. I'm glad you're home and doing well, I'm just sorry that you had to go through such a horrible time getting him out! I'm not stopping. I haven't even taken my coat off
