Who watches Joe Millionaire?

I have seen this show and I think it is a good idea not telling the women that he really isn't rich, that's a great way of finding out who really loves you for you and not your money. Personally I could never marry someone just for their money, I have too much of a heart and I could never be that dishonest.

I've never seen this show. What do they do? They tell women that this person is rich and then they surprise them and tell them he isn't? Reality TV bites!

I'm with you though... I couldn't be with someone just for their money. If I was that type of person I wouldn't care about the dishonesty, but can you imagine how lonely you'd feel?

A person who treats you well and truly loves you for you can make you feel as though you are the richest person in the world.

But what about the ENORMOUS lie that he has $50,000,000? Doesn't that make him dishonest too?

Yeah that might make him dishonest but that's how he'll find out 4sure who really loves him.

I'm not sure how this show works... but, if it is how I think it does, can you imagine the pain that this man may feel if he actually falls for one of these women and, in the end, they leave him when they find out he isn't loaded? Or, if the woman wants nothing to do with him because of being deceived and the pain she may feel?

If he will deceive her on national television, what else might he be untruthful about later in the relationship?

I guess I view it as the TV show that's lying (or playing a trick, however you choose to view it), not him. It wasn't his idea, although he did agree to play along.

All in all, I think it's great. More than likely, they're all golddiggers--otherwise they'd just use the online personal ads or a dating service to meet a guy. But I could see one of them feeling the moral pressure to accept the guy regardless of the money, then when the camera's not on them anymore, she'll ditch out on him! lol

How does this show work? What do the women think is going on? Is the man aware that these women are under the impression that he is rich?

I can't wait to see these girls get scammed!

"Materialistic, heartless sluts exposed" should be the name of the show. Of course, not many would sign on.

I thinks it's like all those other millionaire marriage shows. Only the girls are tricked into it when the guy really doesn't have shit for money. They find out at the end.

So he is aware of the women being under the impression that he has money. Even if I fell in love with him I wouldn't want him anyway for KNOWING what he was doing going into the show!

The whole premise of these kind of shows is cheesy to begin with. I think they're just exposing the hypocrisy of the contestants and making fun of the format of such shows. Anyone who needs a TV show and a million dollars to get a wife is a loser no matter who it is. Lie or not.

OK Azure this is how it works. There are 20 women at the start of the show. Aaron met all of the women when they first arrived at a chateau in France. This is the setting to make Joe Blow look like a millonaire. First episode showed the women arriving and then they were given 30 minutes to pick one designer gown to wear later in the evening to attend at the ball. Some of the women didn't play nice and took more than one dress to try on,while other women didn't have any at all. You know, the bitches of the group, ok! Aaron then dances with each woman. After the dance he had to select only 12 women to remain. He selects each of the twelve women and gives each a pearl necklace.

During the remaining episodes he will present a token or gift to each woman that will remain in process with a more valuable gift/present. The price of the gift/present will increase during each epsisode. He will eliminate the women until he finds one that he is interested in and I'm sure he tells the woman that he is not a millionaire and when she will cry and say you lied to me. lol

The End

Thank you for explaining the show to me!

That's just wrong on both counts.. him for lying and pretending to be rich to snag a woman, and the women for going on there in the first place because they want to snag a rich man! What is the matter with people!?

That looks like a photograph of Aaron from his limited modeling career.

What's with Aaron's hair right now,he needs to cut it. It looks terrible.
