I have been in a many an arguement for years with several of my black friends and never, ever did the word "nigger" come out of my mouth, nor did it even enter my mind. And if it did, I would definately be a racist and should be considered as one. A person's true feelings come out in the heat of battle for him to use words like those in an arguement, he's definately homophobic.

See, that's it right there. He was trying to say that he's not weak and the stereotype is that we are all weak, sweet, gullible, sugar in the tank, etc. so yeah, they even call other straight people homophobic hate slurs when trying to refer to them as weak. Well, what people don't know, is a lot of us are the most evil, revengeful bitches on the face of this earth. Ain't a damn thing weak or sweet about us and I think I'd rather be called an outright faggott than to be referred to as anything near weak or sweet.

The only way to break people of that stereotype is to prove to them how evil we can be and I personally would go after his ass with both barrels for even the slightest slip of the tongue just to show his ass how weak or "sweet" I am. It's kind of a different world down here with the homophobic slurs between the races. The absolute favorite word down here that white people use is "queer". That's the one that just gets my damn blood pressure up every time I hear it. Even when I hear other gay people calling each other "queer", I feel my blood pressure rising. Then their favorite words are "fag", "faggott", "pud", "fairy", etc. Black folks down here use the words "fag" and "faggott" but when they say "punk", it actually means "fag". I've never heard of black folks anywhere else but the South using the word "punk" as an actual word for "fag". I've never heard white folks of any kind use "punk" for "fag".

I guess that's why the word "punk" doesn't bother me near as much as the other words. Because I see it being used as a hate word more as a regional black Southern thing rather than a nationwide homophobic slur. When I was growing up, the only time I heard the word "punk" was to refer to punk rockers or hoodlums (people to be feared). That's another reason the word "punk" doesn't bother me is because I've grown up hearing it used by white people to refer to hoodlums and if a motherfucker crosses me, they better fear me.

I think he fucked up in some other way than just saying a bad word. If he was such a great guy I think the actor he insulted could have explained that the term "f%#" is highly offensive and the news that he'd said it might never have gotten off the G.A set.

He seems just a bit too much like his Dr Burke character--a stiff & arrogant ass--and I think that he was fired for that, not the "official" reason.
