Cop Caught On Camera Beating Special Education Student

http://www.huffingtonpost...12354.html

A south suburban Chicago police officer was caught on a security camera beating up a high school special education student, CBS2 reports.

Marshawn Pitts, 15, was walking down his school hallway when he says a Dolton, Ill. police officer went from berating him for his untucked shirt to slamming him to the ground and beating him.

"The officer was in his face because he didn't have his shirt tucked in," Pitts' attorney told CBS 2's Davis Savini. "That's the officer put in that school to protect these kids, and instead of doing that, this officer is literally assaulting this kid."

Neither school nor Dolton officials responded to CBS 2 about the story.
"We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

I promise you that lil boy was mouthin' off- that's probably how he got his first "brain injury" somebody busted him upside the head.

I was in Aldi yesterday and 2 teen boys- around the same age were saying how they were gonna wait until 8 and "fuck up" the female security guard on duty. Calling her a "fat bitch" and say they were gonna take something and throw it at her. All because they were trying to steal.

Kids these days think that the police should take their shit and keep going- this kid got his butt beat.

And no I don't feel sorry for him- lets feel bad about the innocent kids like Tocarra Swain and Darian (forget his last name) that get shot in the head or beaten to death for just being outside.

This kid is not mentally or physically handicap- he got a learning disability.
LOVE HARD.

momma, you know yourself, you cant beat a kid down for not picking up the damn towels!!!!! (..tell me if you got that).. smile

if the kid was walking around talking bout..."fuck that, imma wear my shirt how i wanna..." thats one thing. but i doubt that cause the story says he was slow or something....

but if the kid was just being a damn kid and here comes ole hot-head houlihan with an authoritative chip on his shoulder, there is gonna be a problem...

cause guess what???

nine times outa ten, the kid has the same damn chip on his shoulder, only at a younger and more immature age...what the fuck do the teachers expect???

i would start fucking with his head....."alright little johnny, maybe you do know more than me....lets see, etc. etc. "

There is no way to tell exactly what happened. confused

Every young man is different and to become prejudiced against teens because how they dress or look is just wrong.

Now isn't it ironic how that same police officer would arrest a mom or dad for spanking their own child. disbelief

I just find it funny that no one has a comment- not even the mayor- and the school didn't even report it yet..

trust- this kid was a trouble starter- and the media is capitalizing on the fact that he has a learning problem-

I thought that when i clicked on the video I was gonna see a down syndrome child or mentally retarded child...

dude got trouble with math y'all.....

if you notice the kid still had not tucked his shirt in (tryin' to be cool)

and he was starting to approach the officer

honestly, i wish my high school in Baltimore had more security like this guy

instead, we have really fat ones that literally are too fat to run after the kids, so the kids can pretty much go anywhere they want

this kid is gonna be 'special ed' for life if he does not end up in prison

but maybe this news coverage will teach him a lesson

Vendetta = there is a grand difference between disabled children who rely upon their caregivers heavily and a smart mouth ass lil boy who is in a school for different learners because he probably has issues with reading, writing and arithmetic. And then he wanna sound all innocent because his family found out its on video and they could possibly get some money.

Yes, this school is for behavioral disorder students, not special needs as the video kinda glosses over. So it's likely this kid was there not for being mentally disabled, but for behavior.

The question stands. What did he do to deserve a broken nose? Let's say he mouthed off to the cop. That's a reasonable assumption from the video.

Does that deserve a broken nose? Is that the answer to all behavior problems?

Spit balls? Broken nose.
Farting in class? Broken nose.
No hall pass? Broken nose.
Late for class? Broken nose.

Let's say he even hit another student. At that point is it appropriate for a school official to break his nose?

look at the video again- what were the other children doing after he took the kid down?

whos to say that he wasn't instigating a small riot right there in the hall. that's how Darion got beat to death while the police stood by out numbered...

lesson learned- sthu and go to class or
get a broke nose and the crap beat out of you

he chose the latter- and if he keeps on that road- he'll be in prison where much worse will happen to him

some of you have an issue with authority and rules=

if you drive drunk what could happen?

if you are speeding what could happen?

if you run a red light what could happen?

- would you coddle the kid who drives drunk and takes the life of your child?
"oh he's just a poor learning disabled kid who had too much to drink and decided to go speeding down the expressway into my sons lap- don't punish him he doen't deserve punishment"

"oh he's a handicapped behavioral problem kid - so what he pulled a knife on my husband who happened to be his teacher and stabbed him to death- he didn't know any better - he doesn't deserve it"
LOVE HARD.

He did not do any of those things and no-one here has suggested not punishing students for infractions.

Yes. Lesson learned. Respond with violence when you don't get your way. Violence is all that is respected.

notice in the video how the boy pulls away from the large female faculty member

the cop then puts his coffee down

the boy had plenty of chances to tuck his stupid shirt in

for anyone that has not worked with students like this, it may be hard for you to realize that what happened was not totally ridiculous
