San Francisco. 1936. Clark Gable, Spencer Tracy, and Jeanette MacDonald. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

Not sure it falls in the category "disaster movies". But it was pretty disastrous for Astronaut Steven West....

These are my all time favorite disaster movies.
Watch this for Victoria Principal. Watch this for the outside elevator. Watch this for Stella Stevens' silver platforms. I love, love, LOVE disaster films, especially the older ones!
The original Poseidon Adventure Towering Inferno Airport Earthquake They are my favorites! Titanic is a favorite, but I love even the bad ones...Deep Impact...Day After Tomorrow, Cloverfield etc. (Although Cloverfield is difficult for me to watch because of the shaky camera.) I just love seeing cities destroyed by monsters and natural disasters (in the movies, not in real life.)! I'm firmly planted in denial

Poseidon Adventure and Towering Inferno. I've lost the use of my heart, But I'm still alive, Still looking for the life, The endless pool on the other side, It's a wild wild west, I'm doing my best, I'm a soldier of love, Every day and night, I'm soldier of love, All the days of my life.

I didn't say "old" I said "older". Seeing as I was born in '67 and I'm certainly older but not old, I thought it was fair. Pandurito I'm firmly planted in denial
