how to fix a scratch in glasses???????????/ do n e of you guys know if there is any way to DIY repair a scratch in glasses without getting the lense replaced?
i jus scratched my glasses hardcore and i guess the doc is gonna charge me to get the lense replaced so i dont want to go that route. i remember seeing something on tv years ago, it was like a brush on liquid or something that supposedly filled in the scratches in glass as if it had never been there. does that stuff work? anyone got any suggestions? Yesterday is dead...tomorrow hasnt arrived yet....i have just ONE day...
...And i'm gonna be groovy in it!

In case they can be fixed with such a solution you should take them to an optician first anyway.
I've found out that newer lenses tend to get scratched far easier. Basically, the surface of the lenses are chemically processed in a way that they won't last as long (that's capitalism 4 u). It's sold as "reflecting-free coating", but reflection-free my ass, it'll just make the glasses unusable far quicker.

Obtain a copy of your prescription and buy a new pair online.
http://www.glassesusa.com/ It's much cheaper than buying from an optometrist or optician.
