Why ya'll actin' like this has anything to do with acting ability or talent. Let's keep it 100, this is just another opportunity for Bounshay to bounce around in front of a camera half nekkid. If she gets the part it will be ONLY because she'd look good in the costume. Isn't that how all women are cast in Hollywood today? And frankly, most white Hollywood starlets today have starved themselves down to a double 0 and are seriously lacking the curves to fill out Lynda's bustier.

Yeah, you're right. I just don't want to see Beyonce on film anymore. Hell, I'd rather they get Lynda herself... a little soft lighting and some movie magic, voila. Wonder Woman! Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off

I'd rather see this as a tv movie with the original Diana Prince cuz that heffa is STILL flawless. Did you see her on Wendy Williams??? Wendy is a huge WW fan and was over the moon during the interview. She has really had some great guests on her show. And Lynda Carter was still stunningly beautiful and totally charming. You can scroll through the video to watch the interview http://www.wendyshow.com/video/ [Edited 10/7/09 6:42am]

Serve up those hip and melons, chile! I'm appalled everytime I see them bitces on Desperate Housewives. Most of them are over 40 and a zero and Eva is a double 0. Teri Hatcher frightens me, she was so much cuter as Lois Lane her face looks so damn hard. That shit's unnatural. I liked it last year when Eva gained weight to play homely Gabby and even though she was still a 4 she caught all kinds of hell. That shit is crazy.

I hope this does not go ahead the history behind Wonder Woman will be trashed forever and no longer have any significance. If she plays the part of a fictional Hellenic Amazonian character created by the Greek Gods it truly makes absolutely no sense to me.

Now you know the Knowles Gang will find a way to make Wonder Woman the theme of her next album, then find a way to cross promote it with the movie, then Tina will start pushing bustiers and blue starry draws for House of Dereon

It's just about ensuring that a sufficient amount of people would be interested enough to go see the movie - that's why they had Halle Berry play Catwoman too after she had won the Oscar. Wonder Woman isn't even that terribly interesting a character on her own, so it's going to need some star power to end up even considered for production.
I also think that casting people of different ethnicity as superheroes is also a form of an apology from DC / Marvel that their comics had mainly white-skinned characters throughout the previous decades. On the other hand, it does give it a bit more interesting a twist in the process - although perhaps if they really wanted to challenge their old stereotypical views, maybe they should have had an overweight woman to play Wonder Woman instead. You may have noticed that all the female characters in superhero comics were always drawn to look like models, whereas there was a whole lot more variation in the case of the male characters (likewise, there were no female monstrous mutants like.Thing from Fantastic Four).

I would also like to clarify that I am not comparing overweight women to Thing.

I refuse to acknowledge that shit as having anything to do with Catwoman "...and If all of this Love Talk ends with Prince getting married to someone other than me, all I would like to do is give Prince a life size Purple Fabric Cloud Guitar that I made from a vintage bedspread that I used as a Christmas Tree Skirt." I guess I was wrong then.

Beyoncé is reportedly in talks to play Wonder Woman in a film about the comic book heroine. The Obsessed actress previously said that she had met with executives from both DC Comics and Warner Brothers about taking the lead role in the planned film. She said that being cast as the character "would be a very bold choice. A black Wonder Woman would be a powerful thing", adding that "it would be a dream come true" to land the part. The singer has now said that she will soon enter talks with the writers and director of the proposed movie, ComicBookMovie.com reports. She revealed during a press conference that she has a number of films that she is currently working on, including Wonder Woman. The 28-year-old told reporters that she will meet with GI Joe: The Rise Of Corba scribes and Max Payne director John Moore in the forthcoming months about her participation in the project. She added that the film could possibly begin production in mid-2010 for a late 2011 release. Other actresses who have expressed an interest in portraying Wonder Woman include Jessica Biel, Vanessa Hudgens and Jennifer Love Hewitt. Oh, HELL FUCKING NO!!!!! I'll blow up WB studios if they do that dumb shit. They should have told that siren, "don't let the door hit your ass on the way out!" This has "Catwoman" written all over it. Don't the executives realize WW has to be portrayed by someone who looks like she can whip serious ass? Have they even read the comics?
