I went to this huge free music festival at Golden Gate Park in SF last weekend and just about every other "college age" person I saw looked like this:





And not just the girls. It was an even 50/50 split with guys as well.

...and it all just looks way too much like Eric Estrada as a cop in the 70's:



It's nothing I, or anyone I've known, ever had any kind of positive association with.

Well, college aged people weren't around to wear them in the first place, so now it's back.

Big framed sunglasses stop you getting crows feet when you're younger - and hide the crows feet you've got when you're older.

I've been wearing big sunglasses for the last 15 years. I love them and I will never stop wearing them.

It's an easy way for any 40+ person to look like a teenager.

They cover up too much of the face, to be honest. Even as a constant sunglasses wearer, I'd still like to see some of the face of the person I am talking to.

Every couple of years this becomes the fad, AGAIN !
