No idea.
But you can also save youtube videos on your hard drive via keepvid www.keepvid.com You can play the files with VLC -media player that should be available for most OSes (Windows / Mac OS / Linux & Unix variants). VLC is highly recommended over the bundled media players that came preinstalled with just about any OS, anyway.

I use vixy.net to convert and download

Oh that would seem to be a better choice in that regard.
Well, I personally use VLC for pretty much everything so it doesn't matter for me.

RealNetworks has come up with a novel way to download streaming Internet video and ship it to cellphones, gaming systems and MP3 players.
RealPlayer SP, the latest version of its free media player software, is available Wednesday with tools to convert web video to the different formats preferred by Blackberry, Palm and Apple and other cellphones, along with gaming systems Xbox and PlayStation 3. The new software follows RealPlayer 11, which debuted in 2007, enabling downloads of video streams -- something that hadn’t been readily available before. Now, when you have the player installed on your computer and watch a web video -- whether it be YouTube, Facebook or USATODAY.com -- a “Download This Video,” tab pops up, followed by a small Real window. Here, you choose where to send the video and which format to convert it into. Blackberry and the new Palm Pre prefer Windows Media Video, for instance, while H.264 is the format of choice for iPhones. Real ships your iPhone converted video directly to iTunes, where it must reside to be transferred to the iPhone. The other formats can be dragged and dropped manually. Clips can be burned to DVD, but you’ll have to pay $39.99 for that feature and upgrade. Real says some 1 million copies of its software is downloaded daily, and the total population of installed RealPlayer software tops 300 million.
