Nope never have tried it and even when I was living in the US I didn't do it. I did experience the haunted hayrides and the haunted eastern state penitentiary tour though which was really cool.

Larry David on Curb your Enthusiasm did a whole episode revolving around this issue...

If a 16-17 year old is willing to wear a costume, I say they've earned candy.
If no costume is worn, no candy

My mother wouldn't let me go Trick or Treating door to door so she took me to the mall to Trick or Treat. The first and only time I went Trick or Treating door to door was when I was 14 and I was in my first year in High School.

Looking back, being that I was dressed as a character from the movie Dead Presidents, it may not have been the best idea.

I don't think there should be an age limit. I did it until I was about 14 or 15. What I don't like though, is when parents take their kids trick or treating and hold up a bag for candy for them (the child has their own bag). That's just greedy.
Need to play "No More Candy 4 U" this year. biggrin

Yah the one in Philly! It was a brilliant tour but a very freakish night. The haunting energy was astounding.

We've asked him dozens of times to make sure that he hasn't changed his mind.

But he still says no.
