that sux. I'm SOOO sorry. I even cried when my turtle died. It's so strange. I usually try to man-up in situations like that...but death gets me every time. Even the death of a turtle. I'm sorry for your loss.

When I had to have my kitty put down in 2005 it was one of the hardest things I've ever done in my life.

Sometimes I wonder why we do this to ourselves. Have pets, I mean. Even in the best circumstances we know our friend is only going to be with us a relatively short time. Unless it's a parrot or a tortoise or something that has a long lifespan, it's pretty well guaranteed you'll have to bury your pet. "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!" | |

| I put my first and only pet down last year, it's so hard but it's for the best.

I'm so sorry.
Our dog was put down 5 years and I still miss him but I have so many fond memories of him that I can't help but smile when I think of him. It's going to be unbelievably tough no doubt about it but just remember how much pleasure your dog has given you and now you're doing the kindest thing you can back. | |
