...well first off this Ben dude (white guy)calls one of the black girls- or is she the only black girl?.... anyway- since she's from Detroit and doesn't mind speaking her mind- he calls her "ghetto trash"- and then proceeds to tell her that she needs to go back where she came from and make herself a ketchup sandwich.

all this because she confronted him about taking her down linebacker style during one of the challenges- and mind you - he was the first survivor in the history of the game to be eliminated from a challenge because of taking "cheap shots".

...now all that to say- Jaison- (a black dude) that overheard this conversation- confronted Ben at tribal counsel- now to me it was a delayed confrontation-

Don't you think he should have said something about it when it happened- and Jeff (the host)- upon hearing it didn't say anything about it...

Jaison knew he'd have an opportunity to confront him about it down the line and let cooler heads prevail; I think he handled it well. As for Probst, per his role, he let it play out between the contestants. While you know and I know that the comment was racially charged, the dude kinda gets off on a technicality. Perhaps, if he'd survived Tribal, Jeff might've given him a warning.

I am convinced that most of these arguments and fights on all of these 'reality' shows are encouraged and even thought up by the producers. I believe that most of these fights are discussed with the 'contestants' and are actually scripted to some degree.

I have never really watched it but I have seen a few episods and other reality shows and I just believe that a shocking amount of most if not all of these fights are fake or at the least encoraged for dramatic reasons. Now some of the 'encorament' may come after the fact. So two people get into an argument and some producer says that will be good for the show. Then they learn that fights get them more air time.

What about the dude that they said left for medical reasons? WTF? They never showed anything about it on the show. They've never done that before. Sounded a little fishy to me.

I could NOT believe the comments he made about the black girl, especially the ketchup sandwich comment. The ghetto trash comment kinda got me thinking...I never really thought of it b4 but I guess it's equivilant to calling a white person trailer trash. Not nice either way.

and Russel! phew! that dude is pure EVIL. I'm curious to see when they have family members come out...who he'll have? is he married? (god help her) I bet he'll have a brother or his father come out.

The guy that was removed due to illness turned out to be over heated & dehydrated..he is fine .I think the last challenge knocked the wind outta him.

We have to remember this show is edited up the ying yang so we don't really know if Jaison confronted Ben earlier.
