Definitely real! Rosey Grier and Ray Milland. 
Odd early '70s social commentary/exploitation/comedy/action flick. I can recall seeing it (and actually being afraid  ) as a kid on a local midnight horror/sci-fi show that used to come on in Cleveland through the '80s.Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

I have this on vhs, yeah call me odd. Its a very bizarre flick that was way ahead (no pun) of its time.
