Stick with your meds as sucky as they are.

Take them consistently at the same time every day.

Hang in there!

Too bad. Is it true that once you start taking blood pressure medicine that you have to take it for the rest of your life?

Yes and no. (I'm not a doctor or anything, just speaking from what I've seen)

If your high blood pressure is weight and diet related, you may be able to come off the meds if you make changes to your diet/lifestyle and lose enough weight.

If your high blood pressure is of the more hereditary/genetic variety, you would more likely be on the medications for the rest of your life as the issue is unlikely to correct itself.

Glad they caught it before there were serious problems.

I take diabetes medicine (pills) every day, and I guess I will for the rest of my life. It's no big deal, to me it's just three more vitamins.

I hope there aren't any side effects to your meds.

On the other hand, maybe we could use you being a little loopy when you make your football picks. You're damn unbeatable! j/k

Greg, what pills are these? Are you type 2? hug for Ivy. How is it going? Be glad that at least you don't have to take insulin shots. My friend's 9 year old niece was just diagnosed with type 1. sad I think we might to try to do the Diabetes Walk for Life in NYC in a few weeks.

The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.
