Dragon Naturally Speaking 10

so I just want to take a minute and say Dragon Naturally Speaking is...

basically this is voice recognition software that allows speech to text and everything you see in this post is something that I spoke into my headset and it was magically transferred to screen by using this amazing piece of technology.

I'm head over heels for this and I recommend it to anybody who blogs, has papers to write, or does a lot of typing in general. This has made life so much easier...

do any other orgers use this?

thumbs up!

yes I'm totally shilling!

I type about as fast as I speak lol
And I'm able to correct mistakes pretty quickly when typed. Using dragon (and I haven't touched it in 4 or 5 years) was a bit awkward, though I would imagine that it's matured a great deal since the old days.

It's a great tool for many many people in several situations though.

We use something similar to this at work, but I very rarely use it. By the time it's completed typing what I've said I could've done it myself but it was fun to play around with when I first got it.

I just love being able to sit back and prattle on about stuff and DS duly notes it all with only a few keystrokes for punctuation from myself...
