Anyone Moved from US to Canada? If so, please tell me your experience. I am contemplating moving to Toronto, but it is such a HUGE change, I'm not 100% certain I want to do this, but I LOVE TORONTO.

My family moved up to Toronto from the Cleveland area three years ago, and I love it here. I certainly can't speak to the whole of Canada, but at least here in TO there's lots to do and see. When/if we do get bored, we're situated just below some absolutely amazing lake and woodland regions, and we're within a half day's drive to any number of other cool cities in Canada and the U.S. There are quality -- not perfect, but quality -- public schools with all sorts of specialized curricula. The Greater Toronto Area is riddled with colleges and universities (and tuition is much cheaper from institution to institution than in the U.S.). There's annually much less violent crime than most metropolitan American areas of comparable size. Toronto's known (though maybe a bit overrated) for its cleanliness. We've got decent hospitals (actually the best pediatric facility in the entire country, though there are better adult hospitals elsewhere in Canada). And it is one of the most culturally diverse cities in the world with about half of its population being born outside of Canada... and for goodness sake, they actually get along up here for the most part!
But no place is perfect. Winters are long and cold here; folk, while civil, aren't as friendly and polite as the Canadian stereotype suggests; and there are no  stores.  ...And while Canadian beer ROCKS, they (Torontonians at least) wouldn't know decent barbeque if it rained down from heaven. 
Taxes are also kinda high, and it's an expensive city. We own a roughly 2200-sq.-ft. home in a Cleveland suburb. A comparable home in a comparable neighborhood here in Toronto would cost about 3.5 to 5 times as much, depending on the market and exact location. We've also noticed groceries are significantly higher (and, incidentally, big box grocers have a slimmer selection) than back in Ohio. But if you're willing to work -- that is, peruse the local farmers' markets, ethnic grocers or small vendors around the city -- you can often haggle a good price out of them and come across an impressive variety of things. We're here only on study/work visas right now, so we don't yet enjoy national healthcare (a good chunk of my non-resident tuition pays for our health insurance), but we're mulling over permanent resident status (which would require we be in Canada at least two out of every five years) and perhaps even eventual dual citizenship, both of which would confer federal coverage to us. We need to plan a decent long-term immigration strategy, though. As increased numbers of people are wanting to move to Canada, immigration laws have become more stringent over the past few years with a tightening point system based on, essentially, desirability or asset to Canada.
