Ran out of mixer and didn't feel like running out to the store so I poured some vodka and broke up 2 cherry flavored ice pops (that we keep here for when the nieces/nephew visit) and threw them in as "flavored" ice cubes.

It's not half bad.

I subconsciously stole your idea just last night & didn't realize it until this thread resurfaced When I got home from work last night I wanted a drink, but I also had a taste for ice cream. So I split the difference - took some Blackberry Cabernet sorbet, poured a little vodka in it & made it a slushy 'twas GOOD, though rum probably would have been better. So thanks for the idea!
