coming back from My so called show...

ended up getting shut down early by the police. there was no reasaon
for 10 police cars to show up for a cat fight. I;m running the show and
my 140lb pound azz ends up playing security...

The host got Cold feet so I ended up hosting the bit. I thew up
4 openers...then right when It's time for me 2 work my NYSe magic

2 females start fighting over a fuckin jacket...

I didn't know you did comedy. The gig sounds like it was funny in the wrong way and that people got a show, just not the one they paid for.
It's all good..I'll hit em next time. sad

Well another day surfing the org. Doesn't seem like a whole lot of people here. my lovely daughter got off at the wrong bus stop and luckily a friend drove her to her destination, swimming lessons. I wasn't at the bus stop because my sister pays for her to go to swimming lessons on Friday. The child knows this. I love this kid, I tell you. I had her yearly parent/teacher meeting today. She's making progress. She has a iep in reading/writing/spelling and they explained that because of this, the school can't hold her back because of her horrible grades. She still doesn't recognize all of her kindergarten sight words yet and she is in second grade. I just don't want her to suffer the stigma of staying back. Because they think she has a learning disability they don't believe that staying back would do her any good anyway.

That's what I thought. When I read that you were at a comedy club I thought maybe you were trying to diversify your entertainment skills. There aren't many that can do both comedy and music well.

My daughter's learning style can be very frustrating. She can learn the words to a song faster than most children and even learned how to spell her name once it was put to music. However it is seemingly impossible for me to put every sight word to music; and the whole point of sight words is that you recognize them by sight, immediately (spelling?)

She does have a very pretty singing voice and she practices singing on her own alot, she loves to make people laugh and maybe will do something with these skills someday. I regret that her skills are those in entertainment since it's not an easy road and few can truly live off of it. However I don't want to discourage her. I had interests in acting the first 18 years of my life and I was strongly discouraged and felt like an embarassment to my family so I stopped pursueing it. I now wish that I had failed rather than quit. I guess if my daughter takes that road I will feel the same way towards her; don't take away her success or her failure. It's her life.

I am sure that older she gets the more difficult it will be to let her make her own mistakes.

I'd never tell you to fuck off...unless you punched me.

They're those American Apparel ones....sooo comfortable. They charge $32 over here but I got 'em for the equivalent of AUD14 each! excited

When I lived in Atlanta, I lived near an old Cemetary and went their quite often; interesting landscaping. I loved it most of all during and after the rain because of the smell and the way the light played on the cemetary stones. I have yet to fall in love with another cemetary like I did with that one.
