It's supposedly Australian and has a little emblem on the front saying it won the gold medal in the 2007 Australian Beer Awards. Sounds fishy to me. For one thing, it's the cheapest beer you can buy, even cheaper than Chang or Leo. About 85 cents US for a 640ml bottle. Is it good? Should I hunt it down? btw I normally don't drink ales or lagers....Guinness is mine. A beer called Leo Never heard of Archa I'm going to google it right now. I feel pretty sure it's not in any way Australian and has won no Australian Beer Awards whatsoever. I like Steinlager, but then that's a Kiwi beer.

ThaiBev expands Archa Beer to new market of young people who are lively, look for enjoyment and care relationship of friends
ThaiBev has geared up to position Archa Beer as a beer for new generation of young people by launching a new television commercial built on the concept of unbreakable relationship between friends who always share happiness, hardship, loneliness and sadness together. Archa Beer is a Thai beer that won the Gold Medal of the Australian International Beer Awards (AIBA) in 2007. So it's a Thai-made beer that won an Australian award. It's not awful, but it's not exactly good. It is cheap though so it's some ex-pats new beer of choice. I'm going to stick with Singha. happiness, hardship, loneliness and sadness - Sounds like more pain than fun.

But I want to share hardship, loneliness, sadness and occasionally happiness with you. Yes, lager. It tastes better than the former cheap charlies' lagers of choice, Chang and Leo. Both of those give a terrible hangover (or Changover) but at least Archa doesn't seem to do that. It just doesn't taste that great is all.

What I like most is the adverts where they have the big logo at the end reading 'Cheers' and the voiceover guy in typical Thai Engrish fashion says 'Cheer' without the 's'. Fuck, it's your advert, isn't that important enough to actually say the product's name correctly??

God I love this song.
I've never seen this version of the film clip as the official one only used some of this footage, interspersed with weird footage of Ken in a dentists chair with a woman suspended over him, latex covering her head. When the latex splits, sand comes out. I think this version is much better and truer to the song.
