Robert Randolph's Family Band. Seen them live also, and they are CRAZY tight.

The Roots are incredibly tight, maybe not quite on the level of Prince's bands in terms of musical proficiency, but a super tight outfit.

All three (Bruce, Randolph and Black Thought) are known to be great people to work for. When you treat people well, they want to do a good job for you.

If your performance is awe inspiring, and you've been signed to a record contract & these folks are just the band you've hired in order to tour, then go ahead & rule with an iron fist.

But most of us actually need our drummers and are no better than they are on our respective instruments, and would be best served with constructive criticism & positive reinforcement.

Bottom line, is it working? Is the band getting better, or on the verge of imploding?

Usually I do not argue with women,but in what part of the message did I blame Prince?Anyway I never said I hate having the same work ethic as Prince,actually I kinda like playing music,instead of being with friends.
