Computer Purchasing Question - For The Org Computer Geeks

Is it better to buy computer hardware separately (eg. mouse, tower, monitor, etc); or buy a complete computer? Looking at the cost as well.

I'm debating. I'm doing some research before I go run out and buy a PC.

If you already have keyboard, mouse, and a monitor, then just get a box.

Dell makes a really great mini-box for configurations like that for between 600 and 700 bucks that serves 99% of most user's needs.

The cool thing about these tiny systems are than regular computers.

That is cool. I'm looking at new computers too and would love that tiny size

In all honesty,y I would buy a mac mini over any of the PC clones.

But that's just cause they're more stable computers and the OS is a lot more stable.
If you have to own a PC and don't want to spend lots of money on one, that Dell system is actually really cool.
