So far I like these new shows-

Flashforward
Eastwick
Vampire Diaries

Glee...first show in a while that's been fun to watch

I watched Modern Family, and it was ok. It seems like it has some potential. Honestly, this is the first new show that I have attempted to get into since Psych started in 2006.

I don't know what's this year and what's not since we're sometimes a year behind. New to me at least and what I've checked out of late are:

The Mentalist
Criminal Minds
Lie To Me

All ok but nothing special. I don't go out of my way to watch any of them but might watch if they're on and I've nothing better to do. Don't watch a lot of TV anymore, come to think of it.

New series of Dexter starting here soon, but the gratuitous and distracting profanity put me off that show.

ended up watching glee with my mom...it's ok
haven't checked the others, but flash forward looks cool...no not flash forward it's called Trauma....where the paramedics are running in slow motion carrying people.

I watched the pilot of glee and damn if that wasn't one of the worst pieces of non-reality television I've ever seen.

The kid spinning around in the wheelchair at the end with the guitar and the bully nonsense and the teacher without confidence who becomes inspired by the butchered version of Don't Stop Believin'... I thought it was a joke. I couldn't understand the appeal, but then there are a lot of hugely succesful shows that I've never understood (Nod to Friends, Gilmore Girls, Gray's Anatomy, 14 different CSI and Law & Order spinoffs, and all these reality shows)

I wouldn't say a lot this season has excited me, but Modern Family and Community may both have potential.

Earlier this season I started watching HBO's "Hung" which has a great premise but hasn't lived up to my expectations. Still I believe it might become good.
