The Life Time Channel ....... Am I the only woman who despise this channel ??
It supposed 2 be a station dedicated 2 women ... but in my opinnon i think it basically sucks... I would much rather listen 2 country music... [This message was edited Sun Jan 5 16:40:04 PST 2003 by DigitalLisa]

Ah...the estrogen channel...it shows movies of abused women and other annoying crap...
Then there's the "Oxygen" channel...same thing... Fear is the mind-killer.

Up in Canada we have:
Lifetime WTN - The Women's Television Network W - Women Oxygen Oh, and TLC - the learning channel, which has basically become women's television. All day they have shows like "A Wedding Story", and "A Baby Story", and "Redecorating our Bathrooms" We also had a man's channel, but it flopped. And of course, the well known Black Entertainment Television, or BET. Still no word as to when White Entertainment Television, or WET will be on the air. I also remember hearing something about a station designed for pets. "Knowledge is preferable to ignorance. Better by far to embrace the hard truth than a reassuring faith. If we crave some cosmic purpose, then let us find ourselves a worthy goal" - Carl Sagan

I thought WET was MTV and VH1

WET has been on the air ever since television has existed. This post not for the wimp contingent. All whiny wusses avert your eyes.

bumpies!
i'm a woman, and i'd just like 2 say that lifetime sux the wind out of a rat's behind. "television for women", puh-leeze... and all the other so-called "women's networks" can just get out, 2. it's a waste of cable space. femmie bloat edit....twice!
