I was the subject of a college class tonight. Scary, I know.
I was a guest artist for a college Art class. I set up an impromptu salon. The students were brought in by their instructor to view my work and apply what they've learned. And there was Q&A with moi. This is new territory for me, but I ended up being asked if I would be available to do this again (on another campus) on Mon. Anywho...here's pics of the display. I think I did quite well, considering I had a school conference room to work with. The majority of the work is my Latin Pop, however I was asked to bring a few pieces in different styles I've worked in as well.

Sammi: You will SO be in the same situation. I'm just recently beginning to feel like I'm starting to reach a level of "success" as a full time artist. It's been a long road, but I feel like...I dunno...something's suddenly beginning to HAPPEN. I don't have to tell you that it's a field people raise an eyebrow at when you choose it. @ "with clothes on". That was the FIRST question asked of me when I posted this as my status on facebook today.

Nice!
I really dig the "dove" images. Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it. |

I remember you posting some of this art before, explaining that an instructor was giving you guff over body shapes and the like. Granted, you can understand the "commercial" aspect of it, but seeing it all in a display, you can see that it looks great, and flow really well with your work.
Also, I dig the clark kent/lois lane -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Still it's nice to know, when our bodies wear out, we can get another -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

The instructor (also an Art Appraiser) ended up purchasing the diptych that hints at animal prints (Middle pic to the right. It's called "Wild"). I let people touch my paintings if they want. She told the class "Mr. Gascot said you may touch the art if you wish, however DO NOT touch my painting."
