If there is some damage I think I would but I don't think I would tell my insurance company about it, they might jack up my insurance.

If it's a write off then nope I don't want it.

If you are lucky to get it back in one piece then have it cleaned inside and out.

I felt that way about a girlfriend that was stolen from me.

After it, er, she came back I didn't want her. I didn't want to touch her. I didn't know what gross things had happened in her interior so I left her alone.

i would find a way to get some money out the deal...sell it to the junkyard, trade it for another model. they would have to get me a good credit rating at the dealers for allowing another mother fukker to have fukkeed me so hard...dammit.

I always remember a woman at work telling me about getting her stolen car returned.

There was nothing wrong with the car at all - not a scratch. Whomever stole it had even filled the tank.

However, whilst cleaning the car, she found a small child-sized pink shoe, under one of the seats. The car-owner was childless.

She reported the discovery to the police whom seemed completely uninterested. The police told her that she must have had a friend's kid in the car at some point in the past and had forgotten. None of her friends or family members had toddler-age kids at the time; nor could she remember having any young kids in her car (she'd only owned the car for about six months).

She never went near the car again. It sat on her driveway in the rain for nearly a month, until she sold it at a knock-down price soon afterwards.

Really very creepy.
