I just had spaghetti with Paul Newman's bolognese sauce with beef mince, olives, chopped tomatoes and onions. Not exactly daring but it was nice.

I agree, but I use/prefer basil instead of parsley. For an actual sauce, if it's not homemade, there are two that I think are fantastic. They are both a bit pricey, but Gia Russa Tomato and Basil or Mom's Spagehtti Sauce. Mom's has whole Garlic cloves and basil in it and is very good. Usually about $7 to $8 per jar, which is admitedly high, but totally worth it if you're going the jarred sauce route. [Edited 9/15/09 7:12am] [Edited 9/15/09 7:34am]

They have Paul Newman´s products in Thailand? " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

I don't have a "favorite" bottled sauce - they all taste more or less the sam eto me (except the ones with the weird spices in them).
My favorite sauce is my wife's, that she makes with (canned) crushed tomatoes and other stuff (never sat and watched), especially when she puts ground meat in it. By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory!

They have Paul Newman´s products in Thailand? Of course, it's imported. A lot of the supermarkets are getting more and more imported stuff these days, not just Villa and Foodland. Tops Supermarket now does a whole load of stuff from Waitrose even. The pasta sauce section is usually mostly filled with Prego sauce like Dayclear posted a pic of though. . Because of the carbs? Partly. Also because I just don't digest it very well...and it adds a lot of calories for not a lot of flavor. I mean...think about it. Pasta is just a vehicle for whatever you put on it. I'd rather julienne and sauté some zucchini and put whatever sauce I'm eating on that. (One of my favorites is zucchini and meatballs.) Fewer calories...better nutrition. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.
