The September Issue

boxed My boss wanted to see this, so she bought tickets for the entire office and we had to see it on opening day. I couldn't care less about Anna Wintour, Vogue or haute couture, but the movie was okay. To me, the more interesting part of the film was Grace Coddington's story. (She is Vogue's Creative Director.) If you're really into fashion, I suppose you might like it.

love love love love

I have to see it disbelief

my mom doesn't like gory stuff, but she liked the ending she thought the guy deserved it....as soon as the guy started pressing buttons...I knew it was a microwave...so I left the room...but I asked her about it.

Hatchet.....caught it on Netflix the other night. It was a throwback to the cheesy 80's horror. 6 out of a 10.....it was alright and had it's funny moment with over the top fake blood. Tony Todd had a role in it and Kane Hodder played the "monster", so that's a plus.

That's upsetting.....I love Tim Burton films. Did you see Coraline? If so what did you think of it? I loved it. Can't wait for Alice in Wonderland w/ Johnny Depp!!

Burton had little to no involvement in 9 or Coraline lol

Well that's odd considering his name is on it. Also, to me both movies seem very much his style..... lol lol

The Unborn was a really boring movie. UPDATE-I got X-Men origins Wolverine today and Im very pleased. I give it a 8/10. It kept me interested and the special effects were nice and Hugh Jackman is NAKED in it! the only downfall is the ending, there has to be a great ending and this one didnt have it. The dvd was worth the 20 i paid for it.

Ooh, interesting. Gerhard Richter (a contemporary artist) did an entire series of paintings about October 18, 1977. It's a very popular suite of works in post-modern art history theory.
The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.

Those paintings are surreal and a little spooky.

4/10 Only because of Gerard Butler.

I knew what it was about going in...it started off great, then lost it, and the ending was lame and ignorant. I knew I should have gone to see Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs! nuts

I thought that movie was great. The ending was a little too cute, but other than that, perfect. It's a shame more romantic comedies aren't this clever.
