There is a vegan pizza place on the Ave (University Way)! They claim to be the first vegan pizza joint in the world. Just discovered them the other day. Their pizza is hella good (fed it to some non-vegans who also really liked it). It's called Pizza Pi, it's at the Ave and 55th. The web address: http://www.pizzapi.net.
