Ipod Touch I am thinking of buying one of these. How exactly do they connect to the internet?
I know my mobile uses my network but how would the Ipod touch work outside of my house? I don't get it? Any advice? Thanks http://www.myspace.com/savage1999uk

i would waint until around or after christmas.
its rumored that a new one will be released with the video camera and all the extras the nano just got updated with a couple weeks ago. its worth the wait. To make a thief, make an owner; to create crime, create laws. | |

Apple probably felt a video camera would give the touch too many features similar to the iphone and since it's cheaper, might cannibalize sales. That may or may not change by Christmas. I have a first gen touch and LOVE IT! The newer one's are even better. More storage and cheaper. | |

You can connect to free Wifi were available or you can access any network you're signed up with. The apps are amazing in depending on your interest..... you can find a  app for it. I just signed up to Skype, using my iTouch as a phone. depending the package you choose you can make unlimited calls over landlines and mobiles.
I'm waiting after Christmas too to buy another as well, fingers crossed Apple with have added a video camara. ===== [Edited 9/30/09 12:22pm] | |
