I have only seen one of my mom pregnant with me (only child). Someone took the photo of her in her one and only piece of maternity clothing. She really did not need it, someone bought it for her and made her put it on so you could tell she was pregnant. She weighed 121 pounds when she gave birth to me (6 weeks early) and went home from the hospital in her normal clothes.
I knew I would not be that lucky. Though she smoked throughout her entire pregnancy.
Funny how our parents can effect how we are as we grow up.
I know that I always had a fear of being pregnant because of seeing how my parents were.
I hope I have overcome some of that and do not pass it on.

My fear of pregnancy is mainly fear of weight gain (seriously, I am that shallow. I blmae ballet for that too. ) and also just fear of change in general. It's a huge, HUGE step for me to even be considering it at this point.

You just have to remember that it is a temporary thing and will go away in time. I still cannot believe that I have gained what I have so far.

I know all about huge steps, it is/was very huge for me too. I have gotten over the weight gain pretty much now, just worried about how I am going to get him out of my body.

yeah I suppose everything is much scarier before anything actually happens, as opposed to how it feels as you're going through it. Then it just seems natural I suppose.
