we don't have a doberman to contend with, thank goodness whew , just an old cocker spaniel over the fence, but I think our neighbours are also renting, so I will need to speak with their landlord hmmm I'm afraid either our kids or theirs will hurt themselves on this fence. Their kids are always climbing up onto it to hang over and talk to our kids. Our dog gets through the gaps into their yard boxed

I'd always hoped when the old couple who used to live there sold up, they'd knock it all down and build 3 units and put up a huge new fence for us, otherwise we'd never have left it this long doh!

Yeah, I think fences tend to be one of those things that constantly get pushed down the priority list.

I'd like to say 'to hell with it' and get someone in to do the whole thing. But then $ is the issue.

Anyway, what fence? cool

Not sure? Haven't decided. We got a fence replaced when we first moved in (about 3 years ago) and it's already looking pretty crusty.

TBH I haven't really looked into the options. I do know I'm not really a fan of those metallic type deals. They probably last an age, but..... ill

Yeah, not a fan @ all.

I have this argument with Dad repeatedly. If it were up to him, he'd have all his fences built into a colourbond bio-dome. He's in love with the stuff.

you remember the Jaidyn Leskie case?

my folks have a propertly up near Omeo and the Jaidyn's auntie moved in next door to them so my dad built a shadecloth construction for privacy on their balcony. It was called the "murder screen"!!!

Two of these:

The rest I'd stash in the closet and live off it for the rest of my life. Modestly of course, for I'd already have the GX-1! (or two, as the premise would have it). I'd still probably apply for welfare or unemployment fees in secrecy though. shrug

if $2,200.00
Pay my son's rent for 2 mths; I would just add $300 more from my pocket.

if $2,200,000.00
1st 10% to charity
2nd pay taxes
4th give my dad some $
5th set aside investments of gold or silver - for my retirement age.
6th buy 2 modest townhouses one in NYC (for my son) & one somewhere near NYC (for me)
if any $ left over:
7th transfer my mom's remains to Puerto Rico
