Luckily most of my family and friends are in my home country (Ireland) so I didn't have to buy any presents, apart from my wife and I Result! More cash to spend on ME!

Treated myself to a cheap Xbox and a few games for it as well as a few for PS2 and GameCube. Bought myself some new jeans in anticipation of my expanding waistline (hey, it was Xmas, you're allowed to overindulge!). Also a few cheap CDs of old stuff I had on vinyl but meant to move to CD - Curtis Mayfield, Sly & The Family Stone, Stevie.

My wife bought me... a bath robe. She has a history of buying crap gifts so I told her to go ultra-practical this year... that'll teach me!

Bought my wife a little hi-fi, so she can listen to her weird belly-dancing music when she's practising (her latest hobby...!) and some new clothes, a new coat, an expensive hairdo etc. If she knew what it all cost, she'd probably kill me.

Ah well. We'll be eating bread and water for the next 3 months to make up for all the expense

I got ONA from a friend and co-worker!!! He just gained bonus points for that one Mikey!!!

I got 4 more prince cds to replace my stolen collection...thank you Ian my love, you are the best.

From my org secret santa I got some cool stuff...cds, wine glass with o+-> engraved on it, some artwork, and a cool ass christmas card. Thanks Thad I loved it all.


And from my favorite Aussie I got a nice little package with the 8 mile soundtrack, and the Aussie import single of "Loose yourself"

Speaking of org secret santa's I hope mine got her package...eager to hear if she liked it or not.

A digital camera! Yeay! Also some cds (Nirvana, U2, White Stripes), a gift cert for a pedicure (my toes are, as of this very moment, quite cute), a neeto book from my org santa, some fancy vegan chocolates. . .my friend Thom gave me a Jesus action figure, which I think I might glue onto my car as a hood ornament. . .my husband and I were very, very good and didn't buy a single thing for each other so we can afford to go on a little trip later this month, hopefully. We need a break.
