How old is too old to trick or treat? Last night, I couldn't believe the age of some of the girls who were out for candy. It was pathetic. Tell me if I'm wrong but if you have a drivers license then you're too old to be "trick or treating." Some of these girls looked about 17 years old. They were dressed provocative and driving their own vehicles. Am I wrong or is that a bit much. I think I stopped going for candy at about 13 years old.

seriously, who cares? they're out to have some fun. isn't that the point?

I think that the "Candyman" was what they were after, not just candy.

Its only once a yr..if i think they look too old i give them a really small or cheap candy....lol

but for the little ones i make up really good treat bags.

kids today want everything for free & i think more kids today are addicted to junk food

better for them to be trick or treating than out drinking and doing drugs and all the other shit that i know a lot of 16 year olds are up to on Halloween.

That's funny because most of the trick or treaters that came to my door yesterday, were around 12 - 17 years old, and many of them taller than me. It's funny, especially when you see the pre-teens on their way to school or out in the public period, and you see some of them trying to act or dress older or impress their friends, yet on Halloween, it was almost like they turned into 8 and 9 years old looking for candy. Go figure. But to be honest, it was good to see them actually enjoying just being young people having fun, instead of cussing, fighting and disrespecting others in the street

My friend turned her hair salon into a haunted house. They had to go in the front door, be subjected to a bunch of "characters", and exit thru the back where there was someone waiting with a big bowl of candy.
I dropped by and had on my Santa costume, so I played dead and then I'd whirl around in one of the shop chairs with a big knife and say "Merry Christmas" in a creepy voice. My friend had one of her wig heads made up like a severed head- as people approached her, she was brushing it madly saying, "Want a haircut?" and then she'd cackle.

It was funny to see those teenagers go running through there screaming and scared, acting like little kids! They weren't so big then!

Halloween is fun at any age!

There's no such thing as too old for trick or treat. Admit it, you just don't want to share your candy.

I didn't go this year, but usually I do go out trick or treating with my sister. Short though we may be, we're both obviously in our early 20's even through costumes so we always wait until after 8 when most of the kids have gone home to go beg for sugar.

my sister lives in the hood and she told me one lady asked her for extra candy for her daughter that could not go trick or treating due to the fact that she was getting her hair done

I don't think anyone can be 'too old'. There are costume parties for adults all over the place and they can be fun. Just don't go begging for candy door to door. Now that's not right!!
