now, as a grown up, i'm more affraid in rush hour traffic or in the middle of a busy shopping mall than i am when i go to bed at night and all the lights are out. i guess the only thing that could totally freak me the fuck out would be to get stuck on the subway and there would be a power cut and all the lights would go out

Sorry - maybe I'm being dense. I remember reading Dracula when I was about 8 and I needed to keep the light on as I was scared. When I fell asleep though the light would just disturb me. There's Joy In Expatriation. | |
