Afraid Of The Dark Okay, so am I the ONLY 34 year old freak who is still afraid of the dark?? Are you?? How did you overcome it?? Or do you actually prefer it?? Tonight, it's windy as hell, a million things are creaking , I have the house to myself and it's freaking me the hell out. I've *always* been scared of the dark - I think it stems back to when I was kid and some brat told me monsters came down from the woods opposite my house, at night, and roamed the houses. I've been a wuss ever since. Are you scared of the dark??

Nope, you're not the only one. Won't sleep with my back against the air and will not let me feet be uncovered especially if they are hanging over the matress

Seriously - even if people are IN the house, if I need the bathroom during the night, I SPRINT back and forth. It's pathetic. SO reassuring when you get back into bed, though.

and if I do sleep with my back to the open air, none of my back can be exposed. I like to have a pillow still on the back side and must be covered. The only way I can be uncovered is from the front 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

I can't sleep if the doors are open.
I live alone in my new home, and the bathroom is connected to my bedroom. I have to have both closets, the bedroom door, AND the bathroom door closed, or I'm "Love Hurts. Your lies, they cut me. A while back, I had a similar set-up; a house I lived in had an en suite bathroom. I went to see 'Saw' in the cinema and, when I got home, it was really windy and the extractor fan was going like crazy. All I could think of was that stupid puppet riding around on a tricycle. I could NOT get to bloody sleep.

As long as my feet can go under the blanket, and your front is exposed, we should be fine.
