Nope, I loved her from Square Pegs and Footloose. I always liked her as an actress from very early on She just seems honest in her scenes (except for the super kitsch stuff), she's just likable

Hmm, I wonder if they are filming by the Plaza today? Because on my way to work this morning I saw a film set/crew and some people dressed kinda 80s by the Plaza. No sign of any celebs though. The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.

I walked by the same thing. The cars all looked pretty '70s-ish to me, though. The scene filmed was a woman in a big blonde wig (didn't look like SJP to me; could've been a stand-in or could've been a totally different film set) walking across the street; one of the cars almost hits her and she punches the hood and keeps walking. The woman in the blonde wig got a picture taken with two cops, which led me to think it was SJP at first, but I really don't think it looked like her. I was late so I had to run by the whole thing.

'Sex and the City': Manolo Blahnik bites the hand that feeds him Designer Manolo Blahnik never wanted to be a "celebrity designer," but after years of having his name bandied about in reverential tones on "Sex and the City" that's exactly what happened. Blahnik tells the Sunday Telegraph, "If people talk to me about 'Sex and the City' I get sick ... It becomes too much and I don't feel comfortable." Oh, it's hard to be a success. Adding insult to injury, if it weren't for the first "Sex and the City" movie, Blahnik may have gone under last year. "We had a very good year last year, thanks to those stupid satin shoes. That shoe saved our company," he admits, referring to the $895 royal blue pumps with crystal buckle that were to be the first occupants of Carrie's closet in her and Big's new home. So will "Sex and the City 2" fuel Blahnik's hatred? Maybe, but for entirely different reasons. Word from the set is that Carrie Bradshaw has switched her allegiance to the red soles of Christian Louboutin.

Talk about ungrateful. Plus that blue satin shoe cost $945 in the stores yet Carrie said it was $500 in the movie. Anyway he really needs to go somewhere with that ego.

^^Well hell, Manolo Blahnik should be grateful for all the exposure. That's odd of him to say that.
I can't afford them, so it's not like he is getting my business anyways.

I'm glad she moved over to Christian L...his shoes are better anyway! What an ungrateful douche bag!!! And she didn't exclusively wear Manolos anyway. Remember the pink shoes she wore on her "last" date with Big that Miranda's water broke on? Those were Louboutins.
