I'm officially old.

I've been getting headaches off and on for a few months and over the last couple weeks it's become much more frequent. The other day I had to squint at my computer to tell if I was looking at an "8" or a "0" and today I could barely look at my monitor what with my head pounding all the livelong day.

So I went for an eye exam after work.

And now I need glasses!

Just for reading and computing, mind you. But it should do away with these pesky headaches.

So - I've never had to wear glasses my entire life and I'm not exactly sure what I want to get. Give me some ideas, folks!

Prada have some very decent frames.

I kinda like these...

I can totally see you rocking some cat-eyes with rhinestones a la the 50s.

I hardly ever wear my glasses (I prefer contacts), but about 2 years ago I bought a new pair (my old pair was at least 6 years old).

They are similar to this:



but the frames are a medium brown on the outside with a burgandy/purple stripe on the inside. (They say Modo.com on the inside.) I'm not in love with them, but I really, really hate wearing glasses so I doubt there's any frame that I would call a favorite.

I've been thinking about cat eyes too, but my friend Nykol kinda has that look, so I don't want to cramp her style.


And pink and fluffy mixed w/bondage is for my home decor, not what I wear. At least, not anymore. Just like Madonna, I've grew out of my bondage phase, but I'll probably happily revisit it now and again...
