So in case you hadn't heard, they're working on a Captain America movie for release in 2011. There are all types of rumors on the internet as to who will be cast as Captain America. Some of the ones that I've heard of are;



Mike O'Hearn from the American Gladiators




John Cena from WWE




Chris Pine from Star Trek (the new Captain Kirk...he's already played a "captain" right?) especially since he lost the role of the Green Lantern to Ryan Reynolds.




and


Supposedly Stan Lee (creator of much of the Marvel universe) hinted that he would like to see;
WILL SMITH in the role!!!

who gets to play the Red Skull?

Out of those guys Will Smith is still probably closest to the original.

I find it funny how they are casting all these pouty-lipped, metrosexual-looking poster boys in the Marvel -movies. Let's not even discuss the casting on the Fantastic Four -fiascos.

And Will Smith? I really hope not. He's just awful.

Chris Pine would be okay. What about Sam Worthington? He might be good.
