vainandy said: I have no problem with Walmart shoppers. I'll probably be in there myself this evening to pick up some underwear and socks. It's Walmart itself that I can't stand. They bring in their giant store with everything under one roof, including groceries, and since they own so many stores, they can buy their merchandise in huge bulks and sell it at a lower price than everyone else. This usually runs a lot of the local independent store owners, who have a better variety, out of business. And lets not forget that Wal-Mart is also a shopping mall killer.

i can't comment anything about wal-mart without being bias, for the last 6 years my husband has worked for the company, and he makes very good money, and has great health benefits. he started as just a regular sales associate in the shoes dept. and worked his way up to the position he has now. i can't say anything negative about the company, because my first hand experience is that it's given our family a good life, and paid my husband enough in order for me to be a stay at home mom for our son. a lot of the things that are said about the company are lies and are made up by the folks that are pro-union, and have it out for wal-mart!

One thing we noticed between the two is the layout and lighting. The layout is very different. Target's new branding M.O. has been to offer "designer" products at a discount store. Making customers feel a little "classier" for shopping there. It has worked. Their market share has increased tremendously. yes this has definitely worked. Walmart is a trash disposal compared to Target. The only downslide is that Target doesn't have a whole grocery section, like Walmart does. I only go to Walmart when I'm too broke to go to my favorite grocery store. And I always have to be sure i'm not going to Walmart the first of the month either, its like a madhouse in there during that time. I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I don't think this has anything to do with Walmart prices or what someone can afford and all to do with crazy trashy folk who just happen to shop at Walmart. Amen to that. I haven't money to burn and their clothing is affordable and oftentimes more nice than department stores or brand names. So I feel no shame in saying I just went clothes shopping there a week ago and got some good deals. And I'd rather have spent 100 dollars on pieces I can mix and change and make look hella good than to end up dropping 100 and getting three pieces of luxury stuff. I'm a college student and I can't always run towards the haute couture. So it's fine if peeps want to stereotype. But I shop at Wal-Mart and am NOT trailer trash in any shape, way, or form. I was raised by classy, smart women who always taught me to never pass up a good sale.

Damn near verbatim the company union busting script. Hard to decry someone "having it in" for wal mart while spouting the wal mart attack lines back at them. Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it. |

Never worked for me. I find that the grocery chains jack up their prices so high, even with double coupons, I end up paying the same as I would at Walmart. So, I prefer Walmart because of the one-stop shopping. And they have the most AMAZING General Thai chicken in the hot deli. I swear, I'm addicted to that stuff!!! "It's not nice to fuck with K.B.! Kim, know what you mean. I actually love Walmart, especially the SuperWalmart. I'll be honest. Everytime I used to visit my Mom in Florida, when she lived there, my sisters and I made sure we stopped into Walmart. Where I live in NYC, at that time, they didn't have a Walmart near my area, unless you travelled way out towards Westbury, Long Island, which is on the outskirts of the boroughs of NYC, so everytime we visited my Mom,in Florida, we came back with a extra suitcase full of goods from Walmart. There's only one in Queens, NY, but it's still far from my location, and just an average-sized one. Nothing like the ones in Florida and outside of NYC. I love their towels and especially their housewares, I personally, am not laughing at the fact that anyone works at Walmart though, I would never have a reason to laugh at anyone who works hard at any job, I'm actually laughing at some of the folks in the pics, because some of them pretty much reminds me of the same type of folks I see walking around NYC everyday in Manhattan, on my way to work. Most folks in NYC, especially in Manhattan, don't flinch much of an eye when you see someone outside of what some folks think is the "the norm". There was this guy I used to see jogging everyday in ladies lingerie, bra and panties, I kid you not, and his hair was very short, but he would have his hair parted in the middle like pigtails, with bows on the end. He had no problem stopping cars and gaining attention. That is what he chose to jog in every morning. After awhile, seeing him every morning jogging and dressed like that, his appearance didn't surprise me anymore. [Edited 10/5/09 12:28pm]
