I fucking HATE Kaiser!

EVERY single blessed time I'm unfortunate enough to need to go to urgent care it's a four-hour wait. Minimum. Regardless of the time of day or night. stab

So I'm spending my holiday weekend curled up on a chair here, dizzy as hell, yaaaay.

Anyone else have kaiser? Are they ALL this bad??

falloff
I did a major project once for an HMO in Florida, and the phonecalls I heard shocked me falloff

Emergency room waits of 4 hours is actually about normal and not too bad.
I've heard folks waiting 8 to 12 hours before... in the states. I don't think this kind of thing happens in Europe. And certainly not in Thailand.

This is a serious serious problem mad

My nephew cut his foot at the store when I was babysitting once, and I had to drive him to the emergency room. I was insured out the wazoo thanks to my job, and my nephew was adequately insured to through my brother-in-law's job; however, it wasn't like I had his insurance card on me... it was very frustrating.

I called my sister and brother-in-law about the incident and they drove back from dinner/movies to come sit with him (3+ hours AFTER we entered the hospital).
It was a total of 5 1/2 hours before he had left the hospital. It was only a cut, and the toenail didn't need removed or anything, but he could have gotten infected. It could have been much worse. I mean, god damn! mad
