Movies that should/could of been great, but sucked! Heres a movie I saw when around 7 or 8. I thought it was harmless enough but was pretty boring. But looking back, the movie sucked! The makers just plonked Tom and Jerry into a crappy story about a lost girl and her evil auntie. As riviting as the auntie and her hired help unintenionally are to e now, they had no part in a movie that was suppose to be about Tom and Jerry..... ...It already sounds like Disneys "the rescuers" but much more importantly once again, WTF has this gotta do with Tom and Jerry? Why would they help her? Why the hell do they talk? And why the hell would they become friends? Just because some stupid dog and flea told them to? This was political correctness gone insane. It was not a pisstake but you might think it was. Shameful. This is like "the care bears movie". I think whover made this film (Turner I think?) were still living in the age where alot of cartoons were based on actual toys (this happened in the mid-late 80's with Carebears, gobots, transformers, my little pony etc...), and pretty much all of them were completely undermanding commerical turds for kids aswell... ...it just took their legacy and fucked with it. And Iam still not happy As I said, straight outta the care bears.... ... ..unfortunately this song is very catchy and its probably due to Henry mancini doing the music. Yep, a composing legend decided to make this film. The score might be good for all I know though? Still, Iam glad this has become a cult for some people: Yep.

The book was amazing and I was so excited. The movie was a huge, gigantic, enormous disappointment. I never bothered to see Angels & Demons.

I adore Dracula! I have watched it many times just to see Gary Oldman, and I have the script, the DVD with extras, the movie poster, and book. As for Wolverine.. I wanted to be bowled over by that movie -- and there are things I like a lot about it -- but overall, it came off too slick for me; Oldman, while his performance was awesome, is entirely unsexy to me; I couldn't get into the historical Dracula (vs. fictional Dracula) look; and I found myself involuntarily thinking, "Die Keanu! Die Keanu! Die Keanu!!" though the entire film. [Edited 8/28/09 23:24pm] Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

PanthaGirl said: Still haven´t watched it and don´t think I ever will. There´s absolutely NOTHING about it that I could even find remotely interesting. The storyline, the actors, the locations, the hype surrounding the movie....absolutely not my cup of tea. Watched it on VHS back in the days and could never really figure out why people like it. Very boring film. A bunch of schmaltzy, patriotic propaganda shit with a predictable storyline that leaves a lot to be desired. I liked the first one but couldn´t really get into the other ones. Why do they even make films like this? What a waste of time and money, for the viewer and the whole team that was involved. Bruce Willis holds the dubious record of being the only Hollywood actor whose films I brought back to the videostore after watching the first 20 minutes. This film and that Hudson Hawk bullshit and some other Bruce Willis flic that I can´t remember right now. Don´t know if it had to do with him but I couldn´t bear watching them. This happened two or three times. I dig some Bruce Willis films though. ( Actually,I can´t even recall ONE Bruce Willis film that I like but I´m sure there is one.) I tried, really really tried so hard to like this movie, and while I must admit that it wasn´t that bad, I kept wondering all the time what the hype was based on. I mean, all my friends recommended this one so I watched it but I didn´t really GET that film. They say you have to watch it a couple of times. Maybe I have to watch it again. We seem to hate the same films. Now I´m wondering what your favorite films are? edit: For some strange reason,my comments about films that you didn´t like look like they were written by you.Don´t know why that happened. The only thing I hated about this movie is that Bruce Willis HAS to get the girl each & every time... even the alien savior of humanity girl, she must fall for him. It's ridiculous, but I love this movie As for the topic, my list of movies would be far too long

Actually I just watched one this weekend - "The Family That Preys"... Of course I always have problems w/ Tyler Perry's skill level but to have all that talent up on the screen & squander it is just unforgivable. It just didn't come together well at all, but that's TP for you. He needs to hire some real writer/directors

yeah it had none of the excitement of the book, and wasn't nearly as interesting. Plus Tom Hanks was all wrong. My Legacy

I love that movie--typical tragic romance period piece that usually appeals to me. It's one of my top ten favorites.
