there are a lot of amazing animal stories out there, them saving us or warning us and what about the ones that find there way home after years and years of being gone, i don't think we've even begun to understand them but i think they have a sixth sense for sure
my kitty was a rescue and i couldn't imagine life without her and i thought that i was a dog person only
if i'm feeling down, she picks up on it and becomes so affectionate until i snap out of it, she has shown me time and time again how amazing she is
but all animals are great in my eyes and i don't trust anyone who doesn't like them or mistreats them - they r people 2!

I love cats because they carry themselves with dignity, poise, cleanliness and independence...my Freddy was like that, RIP.

When we lost Freddy we got a new cat, Sammy, who is none of the above...go figure.

We've always had cats since I was 5 years old, sometimes as many as nine.

I've had a couple of doggies but they tend to be more needy and untidy.

We have two cats. I dig cats cause they are more independant, aside from feeding them, they just go outside and play then you see em later on. One of our cats is really affectionate though, more dog-like.

Their names are romy and missy. I can't find a pic of romy at the moment but this is missy:

For years I've befriended feral cats of the 'hood, and often fed them KFC and luncheon meat. Well that ended when the racoons made their presence known and the cats disappeared. I've experienced psycho cats as well, but for the most part I have a good rapport and know how to connect with them. My fave cat experience was with a former hairstylist who had a huge white cat named Fluff. I was over her house to get my hair done, and afterwards I wanted to lie down to take a nap. When I reclined on her bed, the cat jumped on top of me then sat down across my stomach and took a nap on top of me. I don't like sleeping on my back, so it was a short cat nap, but it was a cute Kodak moment that was not captured. Someday I hope to have one have me.
