He has released music almost non-stop from the late-60s, so the fact that there has been no new material in 6 years really signals something.

"not a fan" yeah...ok | |

62.
He recovered, but just decided to take it easy due to having also had a child recently with his wife. We've also been made to believe that he went through a period of not really being interested in "being David Bowie" anymore. He had been a chain-smoker most through his life, and a drug addict / alcoholic for at least 15 years. In fact he had quit smoking just a few years before his heart attack and was also exercising - the latter part I think he might have overdonw to some degree, since he had never really been into it at a younger age. I saw him on his last tour - I was close enough to the stage - and for a 57-year-old / former junkie he looked just absolutely stuninng. So it also took his fans by surprise. Iwas about to post something similar. I don't think I've ever been with anyone who wore cashmere. (except myself ) "I saw a woman with major Hammer pants on the subway a few weeks ago and totally thought of you." - sextonseven

You are wonderfully brave and patient - I have had this problem with kidney on and off now for 5 years this is the most serious and have had it now for 3 weeks (yes weeks!!!) I shall take a leaf out of your book and buck my ideas up and stop feeling sorry for myself. "I may not agree with what you say but I'll fight for your right to say it"

I shall take a leaf out of your book and buck my ideas up and stop feeling sorry for myself. Well, I always feel sorry for myself! Ok not so much now, but when it was really bad, yes. Nerve damage in my back and neck and then recurring ovarian cysts and endometriosis. I've heard kidney stones can be the worst pain ever. In fact, when I went into the ER two years ago in agony, they thought at first it might be kidney stones. It was ruptured cysts, but I imagine the pain can be similar. Hang in there!
