Fetus in Fetu i have never in my life heard or fathomed such things before. this is actually a twin that mutated and was absorbed into the health twin, grew it's own umbliblical cord and survived and grew. They have hair and limbs, genatalia, but no heart or brain. It stays alive as long as it has a host- it's like a parasite of deformed human tissue.
this has got to be the worst freak of nature. I was actually watching a show and a 7 year old had one removed- they showed what it looked like. But the parents actually let this little boy walk around for 7 years looking pregnant without taking him to the doctor- they said they thought he had rickets and then this man http://www.neatorama.com/...regnancy/- why would you walk around like this your whole life without going to a doctor??? Imagine having your own identical twin living inside you oh and thre was one about a baby inutero when the ultrasound discovered another fetus inside of it..... ...maybe I should rethink having a baby LOVE HARD.

I saw a show on TV where a baby had a parasitic twin, but it was just the head and neck. The two heads were connected at the crown. They had to operate to remove the parasitic twin, and of course, it died.
Then I saw another show where a lady in another country (forget where it was), became pregnant, and the baby inside of her died. Instead of her baby being miscarried, which is what normally happens, the baby stayed inside her for 40-something odd years. When they finally operated to remove the baby, it was all calcified. You could see hair on what would have been its head, and you could see a little hand, as well. Why her body did not automatically abort the fetus after it died is really strange to me. I'm also surprised she did not suffer some effects from having a dead fetus inside of her all those years. I've never heard of having an identical twin living inside you, but that would be kinda creepy. I wouldn't worry about any of these things happening to you if you were to get pregnant. Things that happen like the one's we're talking about are rare and unusual, and I'm sure they don't happen all that often. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.
